From 2007 – 2013 Ponti was part of the marimba group Ongoma. He enrolled at the College for the Arts in 2007, where he received vocal training from Hermien Coetzee. Ponti performed as vocal soloist with the Namibian National Symphony Orchestra from 2008 – 2011.
Ponti received his First Concert Certificate in 2009 and his Advanced Certificate in Music in 2010. In 2009 he was invited to perform as soloist with the world-renowned Kokkopelli Choir in Canada. “My dream for Collective is that we become a world-travelling group touching the hearts of everyone that we meet along the way.” – Ponti Dikuua
